"TO ME, PHOTOGRAPHY IS AN ART OF OBSERVATION,
IT'S ABOUT SOMETHING INTERESTING IN AN ORDINARY PLACE...I'VE FOUND IT HAS LITTLE TO DO WITH THE THINGS YOU SEE AND EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THE WAY YOU SEE THEM."
- Elliott Erwitt

I have been an observer for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would look out the window in the back seat of the car and watch a plethora of scenes pass by, creating mini-movies in my mind. When I was four years old, I was diagnosed and cured of Leukemia and there were often times where all that I could do was observe and daydream while I waited for treatments to end. I believe it was during that time that I developed a unique perspective.
I discovered photography in high school but it was not until many years after that when I realized that images were my source of creative expression. As I began to further learn about the technicalities of photography, I started to experiment with light. I often interpret the light that comes through the lens by manipulating the exposure, experimenting with angles and finding ways to see through my subject, therefore creating a dreamlike atmosphere.
